Maurice motivates the bickering artists to come together by revealing that Midtown is in danger of being sold off. Simone becomes estranged from Carlotta and moves in with Ayanna. Jahil and Brody work together to steal $500,000 from Arlene; Brody stabs Arlene to death, and later admits to Star he stole her phone with the pictures of Hunter's abuse, and gives her half of his share of the money.
