Derek Jones is a main character and the deuteragonist to Alex on the television show STAR on Fox. He is portrayed by Quincy.

Derek first appears at the church picnic when he is looking to hand out flyers for his "Black Lives Matters" campaign. He wants Carlotta to get involved and help his movement, and he also wants her to tell the church that he's good people. he takes a special moment to smile at Alex before he leaves.
