Star Davis (born July 11, 1999) is the main character and the title character in the Fox series STAR. She is the daughter of Mary Davis and Brody Dean and the older half-sister of Simone Davis (father unknown). She is the mother of Davis Brooks with whom she shares with her fling: Noah Brooks, though it was originally believed that her fiancé at the time, Jackson Ellis was the father. She is portrayed by actor and singer, Jude Demorest, and first appears in "Pilot".
Biography[]
Star is the daughter of Mary Davis and Brody Dean. She has a half-sister named Simone. It is revealed that she was named Star because she came out of Mary shining. Star spent her childhood in various foster homes around Pittsburgh and was doing song covers on instagram. That is where Alexandra Crane, a wealthy songwriter met Star from. They decide to make music together but it was diffucult becuase Alex was all the way up in New York. Star then decides to leave her current foster home to look for her half-sister Simone. The 3 girls then drive down to Atlanta where they meet Star and Simone's godmother and Mary's best friend Carlotta Brown.

Star is talking to Alex over the phone, and they are listening to a track of "I Can Be" with their voices. Alex wants Star to go to New York with her, but Star shows her the bad neighbourhood that she lives in and emphasizes that's where she lives. her foster mom demands that she come wash the dishes, and Star hangs up with Alex to go inside the house. When she gets in the house, her foster mom tells her to "do the damn dishes" and Star walks out and grabs her stuff. her foster mom following behind her asks where she's going, Star says that she is going to beg child services to process her out of the system.
Love[]
Star has never grasped onto the idea of love, In her first romance show on the show with Hunter Morgan, Star struggles to return his feelings when he tells her that he loves her.
In her relationship with Jackson Ellis, Star has trouble opening up to him and letting him take care of her which led to fault in their relationship, Jackson has the healthiest relationship with Star and despite being unwilling to admit it at first, she can't help being in love with him and is even ready to marry him. She is very saddened by Jackson ending their relationship after finding out her son, Davis isn't his.
Star's only easily shown a form of love with Noah Brooks, who is also the father of her child, Davis. At first, they were just a fling ,but they quickly grew feelings for each other and since the feeling of love was very foreign to Star, she ended up pushing Noah away which led them initially not working out.
In "Who's The Daddy", it is hinted that Noah may be the father, but Star quickly shuts him down, believing that Jackson is the father. Their friendship only grows stronger after their son, Davis is born.
